Last season Garritano joined Eugene Opera as an Apprentice Artist through a Graduate Performance Fellowship at University of Oregon, singing Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro. In spring of 1999 she appeared twice at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall as a semi-finalist in the New York Vocal Artists Competition. She has been a leading soprano with the Delaware Valley Opera since 1998, singing Vitellia in La Clemenza di Tito, Fiordiligi, and most recently Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro.

Garritano is pursuing her master’s degree at the University of Oregon. She has appeared in numerous concerts and opera scenes programs in the New York Metropoitan Area, Boston, San Francisco Bay Area and Eugene in many roles including Massenet’s Manon, Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Adina, Marie (Fille du Regiment), Musetta, Konstanze and Violetta. She is an active recitalist, having presented programs at Manhattan School of Music’s Hubbard Hall, New England Conservatory and in her home of Warwick, NY, benefiting Art for AIDS of Orange County, NY.
